The Workout

Box o’ Fire:  Two laps around Tapestry, some stretches to move the blood then right into the Box.   Numbers this week allowed us to work the Box as a group.  Some creative leadership emerged as we passed the tire on every lap.  Nice to see everyone had their thinking caps on.  Sixteen stations … ‘nuff said.

Random grains of sand ….

Jaw-ja Education:   We reviewed Dredd’s counting video back in Week 5.  It seemed like a simple principle at the time but a remedial lesson is needed.  2-count and 4-count exercises confused even our most cerebral.

Double the Pleasure (Pain):  Rule #1 – Do as the reps.  Rule #2 – if you get tired, refer to Rule #1.  We learned (again) this week that our brain is the weakest muscle in our body.  Don’t over-think it; just do the reps.

Ticking Clock:  Rock is on Daddy-watch with Mom due any day now.  Wishing the best to Rock and family.  Keep us posted.

Mine Sweeper:  Fig showed up early with a snow shovel to clean the field of all landmines.  It’s a dirty job but someone’s gotta “doo” it.  Thanks Brother!

ANNOUNCEMENTS & NEWS

Calibration
We haven’t had an official Pull-up calibration in 6+ weeks, but KX was posting up some high numbers along with a few others.  Time to chart our progress.  Get ready.

Leader Search:  Looking for leaders to bring some fresh workout ideas.  If you want to lead a Saturday session, volunteer (or we’ll just pick you).  Remember, we all have an equity position in this.

Be sure to invite a friend for next week.  May our group grow in numbers and in strength.

J-Delta
